Or how about the war in Iraq? He wanted to give complete control of our military and the rebuilding of Iraq to the UN. The UN, along with France, Germany, and Russia had a complete conflict of interest as they tried to cover up the greatest fraud in world history… over $10 billion embezzled in kickbacks through the Oil-For-Food Program. We would have our military and money under the power and influence of the “Friends of Saddam” as the list is becoming known. Now, I don’t know about you, but that does not sound one bit intelligent to me.
Then there is the $1000 haircut. Geez! I am Republican and a model, and I couldn’t, in good conscience, spend that sort of money on a haircut when people are starving. He calls himself a Democrat???????? Mario Tricco’s hair dressing salon is considered the cream of the crop… even praised by Oprah Winfrey. The most I have ever spent there is about $120, which included chemical straightening. I couldn’t ever spend $1000 on a trim, no matter how much money I have, regardless of what show, guest appearance, or movie I was in. I guess that is what “fiscally conservative” means. Not wasting money. How could Senator Kerry decrease government spending if he wastes money so excessively? He spent $970 too much on a trim! $30 is still extravagant for a man’s haircut, but let’s be generous here… that one haircut could have paid for haircuts for 3.73 more years. So he can blow a budget that would otherwise last almost 4 yrs, in 1 day!
How about his big outrage on outsourcing? He indirectly pays for that $1000 haircut from the additional profits he makes from his family’s company outsourcing, then tells us how bad outsourcing is!
Of course there is all the rhetoric and bluster he gives us, which is not in line with how he actually lives. He is against SUVs, but when asked about the SUV he drives, he claims it is his wife’s car and he has to ask permission to use it. One of two things occurs to me here. One, either she has him so tightly by the “cahooleys” that we really need to be evaluating her as President, or two, he is playing us all for fools thinking we will buy that ridiculous story. My guess would be somewhere in the middle.
They do seem like a fun and interesting couple though. A little eccentric, totally unpredictable as they sway back and forth weighing the complexity of global issues… They would make for some great fun at a tapas bar in Spain along with the newly elected socialist Spanish Prime Minister, José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero. Come to think of it, they would really have far more in common with him than the average American. As I said though, it’s one thing to enjoy a drink with a mate and it’s another to do business with them. The President of the United States holds the single most important position in the world. I want to be certain that person is of good, steady character and unwavering in their beliefs and actions. We need strong leadership in this new and dangerous world. End.
