Oil, Iraq, America, Saudi Arabia, France, Russia, North Korea, the United Nation’s, Jihad Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction and Corruption or a James Bond Movie?

Do you ever see the world as a “real life” James Bond, 007 movie?    The latest James Bond 007 movie involved North Korea and diamonds from Sierra Leone (the best diamonds in the world) being traded for both weapons of mass destruction and small arms.  You are swept away in a gripping drama as the West tries to stop some nutcase from blowing up the world.  Over the past decade or two, maybe more for some of you, we have been engrossed in watching “real life” world events unfold.  Just like a 007 movie, you have the good guys, the bad guys and the strange twist at the end that makes everything else make perfect sense.  At the end of the movie you realize the one you thought was the good guy actually turned out to be culprit and the one you thought was the bad guy isn’t, and saves the world.  Oil, Iraq, America, France, Russia, North Korea , the United Nation’s, Jihad Terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, and Corruption?  Get some popcorn, sit back and see the strange twist in this “real life” griping drama, as I reveal the complexity of world events today.  How this all fits together…

According to statistics about 75 to 85% of people polled around the world see American’s as the bad guy in this global action movie.  Ten years ago I was sitting at my kitchen table in the Outback Australia, questioning some of the foreign policy America had put in play around the world.  Had Vietnam been the right or wrong war?   Why were they supplying arms to thug dictators in the Iran/Iraq situation (I sure hope that model of foreign policy is abandoned)… And so it goes.  Today I still believe America did have a lack of understanding in the international sector, but just like James Bond having to play in those arenas with rogues, criminals and dictators, things are bound to back fire and the outcome would inevitably be unpredictable.   What society or human has not made an error in judgment, a mistake?  As President Clinton said recently of President Bush, “you cannot possibly make that many decisions in a day and not make a mistake.”

Let’s take a different look at this “Super Power”.  America does have a fierce military might but they stand not for expansionism (they love their own country too much to want to leave), but liberation and human rights, of tolerance of race, religion and creed.  Could you imagine what the world would be like if Nazi Germany was the “Super Power” today?   One could hardly imagine the persecution and human rights violations.  So although many countries around the world love to hate America I ask you to remove yourself from the influence of mass media, and the social comfort many find with having a sense of belonging from hating America, and ask yourself what huge human rights violations and mass atrocities have they really committed?

Yes we have seen some greedy plays but that happens with every country.  That is called “human” nature not “American” nature.  Somehow it feels like the “Little Boy Who Cried Wolf” with America now though...  In the past some American corporations have, on occasion, gone in and taken advantage of countries but I don’t think you will find a country in the world that is not guilty of their corporations doing that.  Once again that is “human” nature not “American” nature.

After 9/11 and an evaluation of the full global threat of terrorism, self defense is America’s first and foremost priority.  Take a deep breath and try and imagine what it would be like if you were in this situation… consider if commercial airline planes with hundreds of passengers on board in your country, were simultaneously hijacked and your capitol and national monuments attacked, killing as many people as the entire Japanese military strike on Pearl Harbor.  Would you not take action to defend yourself from further attacks as the threats keep coming?  For those who keep screaming “America is after oil” to boost the economy.  Let me clear that issue up for you.

Ok, yes I think America is looking for alternative oil resources but not to boost their economy.   At this moment in history there need is currently much more basic.  America’s need now is for security and self defense.  Winston Churchill was deeply concerned having to make the decision to convert the British military to run on oil causing a dependence on an essential resource only available in a foreign country.  The speed and efficiency of the new energy however, made it virtually impossible to refuse converting.  The 1973 Arab Oil Embargo imposed against the US for the US support of Israel, caused the US Energy Crisis and economic stagnation.  America needs oil to run the military, to run the country, to keep old people warm, cars running… it is a government’s responsibility to ensure provisions for that.  America is currently getting approximately 15% of its oil from Saudi Arabia.  So here are some of the strange twists at the end of the movie that makes everything else make perfect sense.

As I mentioned, Saudi Arabia had been taking the profits from their oil money and financially supporting with HUGE sums of money the jihad terrorist organizations around the world such as Al Qaeda and the Taliban to blow up innocent people.  So the US gave money to Saudi Arabia who gave money to organizations to blow up the West and other Islamic countries that did not practice fundamentalism.   To shut down the money that funds jihad terrorism the West and all countries and people not interested in living life as an Extreme Islamist has to become completely independent of relying on Saudi Arabia’s oil.  So other sources are being found in West Africa, Russia etc.   If you missed my article on the extent of Saudi Arabia’s terrorist support click here My 7/28/03 Article

How about the war on Iraq?   In Iraq, Sadam was a thug dictator that used chemical weapons on neighbors, would not comply with the United Nations on weapons of mass destruction, and slaughtered tens of thousands of his own people.  One thing that always amazes me about this “American hate feast” is that America’s trade sanctions on Iraq have always been blamed for the starving people and the lack of medication for children.  At what point is Sadam, who was an acclaimed hit man before rising to power, responsible for any of the treatment of the people he abused?  How is it America’s fault that he and his family lived in disgusting decadence, that he took billions of dollars from the Iraqi people in US Dollars to bank accounts that were meant to feed the hungry and provide medical care?  That the United Nations “Oil for Food” program was riddled with corruption

United Nations officials looked the other way as Saddam Hussein's regime skimmed $2 billion to $3 billion in bribes and kickbacks from the U.N. Oil-for-Food Program, said U.N. officials who told ABCNEWS they were powerless to stop the massive graft.”

Along with the usual meals and medicine, Oil-for Food last year introduced such items--approved by Annan this past December--as $4 million for air conditioners, phones, and vehicles to support the workings of Saddam's so-called Ministry of Justice. Annan also signed off on $50 million to supply Baghdad's totalitarian Ministry of Information "with television and radio studio systems, mobile broadcasting vehicles, television, and radio transmission equipment"--all for the use of the same Saddam propaganda machine that coalition troops have been risking their lives to knock off the air.

So if the United Nations, the French, the Russian’s and the English Minister among others were profiting with massive sums of money from the corrupt Oil for Food Program it is not at all surprising they resisted so vigilantly against the war on Sadam, although Sadam was not complying and still had unaccountable weapons.   Why was the UN not regulating Sadam’s weapons?   It would cost them billions.  Why would the United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan personally approve television and radio studio equipment to Sadam to propaganda against the coalition forces in funds that were supposed to go to hungry children?

So the US going into Iraq first and foremost removes an international security threat of a thug with weapons of mass destruction , rids an oppressed country of an horrific dictator who used chemical weapons on its neighboring country, gains access to the 2nd greatest supply of oil after Saudi Arabia so the world  does not have to indirectly fund terrorism.  I do not see anything remotely evil with that strategy.   If America randomly went into a country abiding by international law on development of weapons of mass destruction, with no human atrocities and took over the country the world would be justified in opposition to the US.  Instead the propaganda from the “real” bad guys has caused the masses to be ignorant of what is really occurring.

There has been the largest media propaganda program against the United States the world has ever witnessed.  The real crooks are getting away with the loot as they use the US as their scapegoat.  The terrorists have launched an anti-US campaign so they can recruit the masses as their soldiers in this jihad war on terror.  North Korea has its own agenda, but unite with America’s enemies to form a secret alliance with selling arms and threatening the sale of weapons of mass destruction (if they have not already sold them).

Why does it matter if the US is popular or not, to global stability?  If you review the terrorist training tapes they recruit people by showing examples of US being against Islam, of Bush projected as Hitler etc and the more those lies are projected the more terrorists are recruited the more innocent children die.  Don’t back the bad guy’s and be part of a collective consciousness that breeds further global instability.

Although the US does have a minority of people who are anti-Islam caused from lack of understanding of the vast differences in Islamic practices across the world and the fear raised from 9/11, the US is distinctly against terrorism NOT Islam.  If the Wahhabi and Extreme Fundamentalist’s only want one God and their goal is to eliminate the West and moderate Islamic faiths, what better way than have moderate Islamic countries such as Indonesia and the West rise and kill each other?  The world needs to unite together against a common enemy instead of playing into the terrorists hand inspiring the “clash of civilizations” as Bin Laden hoped for.  Break the end of the global teaching of hatred of the West.   Islam and all races, religions and creeds that do not want to be forced to practice Extreme Islamic views, need to join together to fight it.  Educating the masses around the world is the first place we can all begin.  Send this information to everyone you know, publish it on forums, play it in the media, write articles and support sharing any information you find on this, in any way you can.  The end to jihad terrorism can be achieved in the same way it started by educating the masses.  Let’s educate them on what is really happening not on some man made hatred that kills innocent children around the world.

So just like a 007 movie the good guys are really the bad guys and the ones we were all boo hooing are the ones that are trying to save the day.   Let’s wake up and all become part of the solution not the problem.    Bashing the US and bashing moderate Islam in such a vulnerable moment in history is giving power to the “real” bad guys.
